it is worth buying a week pass (Japan Rail
Pass, 28,300yen) even you'd plan to ride
only two round trips of Tokyo-Nikko (10,860yen
for round trips) and Tokyo-Kyoto (27,040yen
for round trips). All the rest rides will
be your fringe benefits, so let's ride JR trains!
Just a simple example, it is worth buying
the 7 days JR Pass if you could do Narita (or KIX)-Tokyo-Nagano-Kyoto-Narita
(or KIX) within 7 days, but not worth buying
the 14 days JR Pass since the route would cost about JPY36,000. |
