On the other hand, there is two-seater (1-aisle-1)
and three-seater (1-aisle-2) special luxury
highway bus between Tokyo and Kyoto/Osaka.

Shinkansen is LCC
(Low Cost Carrier), SKYMARK has imatoku and maewari fare for Tokyo - Kobe route. Not exactly Tokyo but Ibaraki - Kobe can be as low as JPY6,000-ish one way. More
